Although stress is a normal part of life, you can make sure that the chance that you are affected negatively by stress is smaller.

 

It is wise to know what coping is, and what exactly you do in stressful situations. Are you more inclined to put your head in the sand or are you a very proactive and energetic problem solver? Look critically at what you are doing and what your response is at times of stress. Other styles of coping can always be learned.

Time Management.

Make a priority list for yourself, write down what you have to do today and make a list for the longer term. You have, after the list is created, a clear overview of the things you have to do. It helps you to decide what is important and what can wait.

Take sufficient time for fun things to do with friends and family. The absence of positive experiences is also a source of stress!

Do not smoke. Drink little alcohol.

Eat healthy.
