Burnout symptoms.

A burnout has some solid features.

The symptom that is most present is fatigue, that does not improve through sleeping or resting. Next to fatigue, one is easily tired after a relatively small effort. That is, if one already feels like making an effort, because that is difficult due to lack of energy and often gloomy mood.

People with a burnout have physical symptoms, think of muscle pain, neck or back pain, headaches, intestinal problems.

A sense of cynicism is the third symptom, as well as feeling numb. People do not feel involved in their work anymore, and that sometimes grows to other areas such as family or social contacts and associations. Emotional involvement is significantly reduced, and results in apathy and lethargy, feeling unmotivated and renunciation of ideals.

If you notice that the above applies to you, go to your doctor and discuss your problem.
